School History
Mission Trail Elementary School, a traditional design elementary school, opened in the 1989-90 school year with an enrollment of 453 students. Enrollment has steadily increased, reaching a peak of 647 and is currently at 511 students. The attendance area is nearing build-out in terms of residential development. Sixty-six percent of the MTE staff have earned a masters degree or higher. Mission Trail Elementary School faculty, staff, parents and students work closely together as a T.E.A.M. (Together Everyone Accomplishes More).

Leawood Middle School opened its doors in 1981 as the second middle
school in the Blue Valley district. The building underwent a major
renovation in 1996-97. This year the approximate enrollment is 558 for its 6th through 8th grade student population.

We, the Blue Valley North High School Community, pledge to provide our students with an educational environment which respects and develops their individual talents and abilities. Together, we will ensure opportunities for all students to master the academic, practical and social skills essential for responsible, ethical and productive citzenship in an every-changing society.

School History
Blue Valley North High School is located in the northern part of the district and was opened in August 1986 with approximately 850 students. In the 2003-2004 school year, BVNHS will serve approximately 1554 students with a senior class of 390. Last year approximately 98% of the graduating seniors enrolled in post secondary education. Currently, Blue Valley North has 377 freshmen, 403 sophomores and 378 juniors.
